Job description:

We’re looking for a product-obsessed Data Analytics Engineer to take full ownership of our internal data stack and dashboards, and help build out our customer facing analytics features. Your work will influence product decisions and provide direct value to customers. As our first data hire, you will have a wide scope of authority and responsibility, and work closely with other teams.

Ideal candidate:

As our first data hire, you will have a wide scope of authority and responsibility, and work closely with the engineering, product, and marketing teams. Ideally the data team will expand in the future under your guidance. Your input will be essential in our data strategy and you will be encouraged to have strong opinions on priorities, opportunities and feasibilities.

Responsibilities:

Defining and expanding our event capture and pipelines, Taking full ownership of data sets end-to end, Quality tracking, defining metrics, creating and maintaining ETL/ELT processes and making it visible, Improving the company's data literacy, developing a common data dictionary, creating documentation, Performing ad-hoc analysis and reporting on your insights and findings

Redis, Google Cloud, Postgres, BigQuery, Looker Studio, PostHog, Plausible, Dune Analytics
