Consults with the Product Owner and the stakeholders (business and technical stakeholders) on an ongoing basis to consolidate their needs and wishes
Bundles the business and technical requirements in the story backlog (breaking down the epics into stories)
Responsible for the ongoing maintenance and prioritization of the story backlog, with the aim of ensuring the
effectiveness of the implementation of the end-to-end functionalities (epics).
Supports the Product Owner in prioritizing the epic backlog, with the goal of maximizing the effectiveness of the product development and the resulting stakeholder benefits generated
Ensures, at the Epic level, the refinement of those Epics that are next to be detailed and implemented - with the goal of ensuring that they meet the criteria of the DoR of the Epics
Ensures that the creation of documentation artifacts is started at the Epic level and that they are further refined at the Story level or completed as they are implemented
Prepares (together with the implementation team) backlog entries (stories, spikes, enhancements, bugs, etc.) for the upcoming (2-3 max.) sprints that meet the criteria of the Definition of Ready for Stories
Defines sprint goals and plans sprints together with the implementation team
Participates in sprint meetings (especially sprint planning, sprint review, refinement meetings and also in cross-team syncs)
Available to the implementation team for technical queries and ensures that the right contact person is available for queries about requirements
Presents the functionality implemented in a sprint to the stakeholders (business and technical stakeholders)
together with the implementation team
Together with the business unit, accepts the functionality bundled in an Epic Increment (Sprint Increment)
Plans the content of the releases with the Product Owner
Preparing/making presentations for clients and introducing/teaching system functions to colleagues through
internal training, if required
