About the role:
Our client is looking for an experienced new colleague who join the team as a Senior Product Marketing Manager. As part of this role, you’ll be responsible for identifying and evaluating new product use cases and vertical market opportunities, with a primary focus on SMBs to drive growth in this segment. Your efforts will include creating and executing strategies to enhance new business acquisition, expand our reach within the existing customer base, and increase average deal size. This is a highly collaborative role and you’ll work closely with teams like Product Management, Sales, Business Intelligence, and Customer Success. The role will report directly to the Head of Product Marketing.
Desired qualifications:
Experience: 5+ years as a Product Marketing Manager in the B2B technology sector.
Keen to success in growth: Proven record in driving business growth, and market adoption.
Strategic background: Familiarity with sales-led and product-led growth in B2B SaaS environments.
Data-driven mindset: Demonstrated data-based decision-making approach.
Adaptability: Skilled at thriving in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
Multitasking: Able to oversee multiple projects while taking initiative and responsibility.
Team spirit: Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
Language: Fluency in English, and German on an understanding level is required (concerning that the client’s market focuses on German speech area).
Your responsibilities:
Market analysis & strategy: Conduct comprehensive market analyses using both internal and external data, customer and prospect insights, to shape product roadmap, growth strategies, and go-to-market initiatives.
Messaging & positioning: Develop messaging and positioning that highlight unique value propositions. Collaborate on defining an ideal customer profile, leveraging data to refine audience targeting.
Sales enablement: Lead sales enablement through trainings on existing and new products, creating supporting materials like battlecards, pitch decks, and roadmap content to strengthen market alignment.
Product launches: Oversee product launches by setting clear objectives and ensuring alignment across teams on all aspects of the launch.
Industry monitoring: Stay up-to-date with trends, advancements, and regulatory changes in the industry. Share insights to continuously improve vertical growth strategies.
Analyst relations: Manage relationships with market analysts, acting as a source of intelligence while also positioning our client as a market leader.
Leadership collaboration: Work with leadership to develop and implement hybrid sales-led and product-led growth strategies.
KPI ownership: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of vertical growth efforts, regularly updating stakeholders.
